    Pupkin Pie Recipe

Format: Mini pies (muffin tin) or a single 6" pie
Yields: 8–10 minis or 6–8 tiny slices

    Ingredients

    Crust (Press-In Style)

    • 1 cup oat flour

    • ½ cup Brothers Dog Food — blitzed to fine crumbs

    • 1 egg

    • 2–4 Tbsp water (just enough to bind)

    • Optional: 1–2 tsp olive oil if dough won’t hold

    Filling

    • 1 cup unsweetened pumpkin purée

    • ½ cup plain kefir (lactose-free preferred) or goat’s milk

    • 1 egg

    • 1 small ripe banana, well-mashed

    • 2 Tbsp xylitol-free peanut butter (optional)

    • ¼ cup Brothers Dog Food crumbs (gives that cookie-n-cream vibe)

    Topping (“Streusel”)

    • 2–3 Tbsp Brothers chunks

    • 1–2 Tbsp Brothers crumbs (dusting after baking)

    • Optional drizzle: 2–3 Tbsp plain kefir

    Directions

    1. Prep

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Lightly grease your muffin tin or 6" tart tin.

    2. Make the Crust

    1. Mix oat flour, Brothers crumbs, and egg.

    2. Add water gradually until the dough becomes soft and malleable.

    3. Press a thin layer into your tin — thinner is better for keeping starch low.

    4. Dock the crust with a fork.

    5. Par-bake 8–10 minutes.

    3. Make the Filling

Whisk together pumpkin purée, kefir/goat’s milk, egg, mashed banana, peanut butter (if using), and Brothers crumbs.

    4. Fill & Bake

    1. Pour filling into the warm crust.

    2. Sprinkle 2–3 kibble chunks over each mini pie.

    3. Bake until lightly set with that perfect “gentle jiggle”:

      • Minis: 16–20 minutes

      • 6" pie: 22–28 minutes

    5. Cool & Serve

    • Cool completely on a rack.
    • Dust with Brothers crumbs.
    • Add a kefir drizzle right before serving for a little holiday drama.

    Portion Guide (Treat, Not Meal!)

Tiny, responsible servings are the name of the game:

    • 50+ lb pups: 1 mini

    • 20–50 lb pups: ½ mini

    • ≤20 lb pups: ¼ mini

    • 6" pie: serve small bites only

    Storage:
